Dupont

About

Dupont is the music project of singer-songwriter Mikkel Harding Hintze, originally from Skive, Denmark. It grew from a solo lockdown project into a five-piece band before winning DR's prestigious talent competition KarriereKanonen in 2024 with the song 'Night Terrors'. After the win, Mikkel returned to a solo format and released 'Night Terrors' as an official single in March 2025. The sound - self-described as 'kolonihaverock' (allotment rock) - draws on folk and indie rock, with introspective, confessional songwriting at its core.
