Dupont started as a solo project in Skive during the pandemic, grew into a five-piece band, and won DR's KarriereKanonen in 2024. Now the project has returned to its roots: frontman and songwriter Mikkel performing alone.

On March 28, the first single 'Night Terrors' was released - a song written in ten minutes, which Mikkel describes as "a cry for help, a feeling that needed to come out."

On the decision to continue solo, Mikkel says: "It's been a process to realize that I need to go back and stand alone to create music that feels 100% right for me. Songwriting is a form of therapy - a way to remember, release, and understand."
