Emil Falster is a Danish disability researcher and the author of "Ableisme - Magt, menneskesyn og myten om den normale krop" (Ableism - Power, human values and the myth of the normal body). His work examines how society systematically favours people perceived as physically and mentally "normal", and what that means for people with disabilities. He lectures widely on ableism and its structural, institutional and interpersonal dimensions.
