Emmelie de Forest is a Danish-Swedish singer and songwriter, born on 28 February 1993 in Randers, Denmark. She won the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with 'Only Teardrops', Denmark's first victory since the Olsen Brothers in 2000. Beyond performing, she has worked as a songwriter - most notably co-writing 'Never Give Up on You' for Lucie Jones, which won the UK's Eurovision selection in 2017. Her third album, 'Into the Moon', came out in April 2025.
