Kulturhuset Mejeriet occupies a former dairy building from 1914 on Kirkegade in Tarm. The building served as a cooperative dairy until the 1960s and was converted into a cultural centre in 2012. The programme covers concerts, lectures, theatre and creative courses; since 2013 the local music and arts school Kulturskolen RKSK has also taught music, visual arts and drama here. The venue is run mainly by around 60 volunteers and rents out rooms to associations, businesses and private events.
