Jacob Christoffersen is a Danish jazz pianist and composer, born in Copenhagen on 31 March 1967. He has appeared on more than 60 recordings and worked alongside musicians including Sinne Eeg, Hans Ulrik and Lars Møller, while also spending a decade as keyboardist with the iconic Danish rock band Shu-bi-dua (2001-2011). He received the Ben Webster Prize in 2013 and held a position as associate professor at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen from 1999 to 2014.
