Jakob Linnet is a Danish psychologist and doctor of medicine specialising in addictive behaviour. He heads the clinic for gambling disorder and binge eating disorder at Odense University Hospital, and his research focuses on the brain mechanisms behind addiction - particularly how anticipation, rather than the act itself, drives compulsive behaviour.
