Jytte Hilden

About

Jytte Hilden is a Danish Social Democratic politician who served as Minister of Culture from 1993 to 1996 under Prime Minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen. First elected to the Folketing in 1979, she has been a prominent voice on women's rights and cultural policy. In 2026 she published the conversation book 'Jeg siger aldrig undskyld' together with author Puk Qvortrup.
