Jytte Hilden is one of Danish politics' most colorful figures. In "I Never Apologize!" we get close to the woman behind the politician - from her childhood in Lyngby and her first leadership experiences in the scout movement, through her years as a high school teacher, to her battles on Christiansborg, in ministerial offices and in public debate.

With wit, bite and warmth, Hilden reflects on life's facets: her passion for natural science and ceramics, her feminist commitment and her determination to always believe in herself, even when the going gets tough. As a grandmother in a large family, she also speaks openly about depression and emotional vulnerability, and how she has repeatedly found her footing again by walking out the door with her head held high - without apologies.

In conversation with Puk Qvortrup and a younger generation, it becomes a story about courage, women's struggle, personal style and the will to make a difference. Liselund Højskole serves coffee, tea or water and some sweets during the break.
