Kenneth Thordal (born 1965 in Copenhagen) is a Danish musician, songwriter, theatre and film composer, and translator who has released ten albums in Danish since 2003, most to strong critical acclaim. He has composed music and lyrics for productions at the Royal Danish Theatre and numerous other stages, and translated musicals including Hair, Evita and The Book of Mormon into Danish. In 2025 he made his fiction debut with the novel Fnok, a personal account of grief inspired by the death of his daughter in 2017, touring the country with his signature book-concert format that blends live music with readings.
