Listening Walk
An immersive listening walk through Borup exploring soundscapes from busy urban noise to quiet spaces, led by librarian Kim Jesper Josefsen.
Kim Jesper Josefsen is a librarian and union representative at Borup Bibliotek, part of KøgeBibliotekerne in Køge Municipality. He is known for taking literature outdoors - leading listening walks around Borup where participants tune into the soundscape, and running the 'Traveture og Tænkepauser' series, which pairs roughly 4 km of walking with shared reading and discussion from the Tænkepause book series. He also hosts regular knitting-and-reading sessions at the library.
Kim Josefsen is listed as TR and adult librarian at KøgeBibliotekerne in a job posting from August 2025.
Borup Bibliotek invited people to a listening walk in Borup and the surrounding area on 16 May 2024 with Kim Jesper Josefsen as guide - a 100% analog tour with wonder stops and poetry readings along the way.
The series 'Walking Tours and Thinking Pauses' continued with themes such as 'Coffee', 'Democracy', 'Bees' and 'Attention' from the Thinking Pause book series.
Kim Jesper Josefsen was again responsible for the library's knitting and reading events, including with the theme of spring.
