Loren Stillman is an American saxophonist and composer, born in London in 1980 and raised in New York, where he studied with jazz luminaries Lee Konitz and David Liebman. He has performed and recorded alongside Paul Motian, Charlie Haden, Carla Bley and John Abercrombie, earning praise from The New York Times, DownBeat and NPR for his balance of complexity and clarity. Early 2026 brought two major releases: *Odense Jazz Orchestra meets Loren Stillman* on AMM Records, featuring six of his compositions arranged for large ensemble by Kasper Tagel, and the trio album *Seer* with pianist Craig Taborn and bassist Thomas Morgan on Newvelle Records.
