Lowly are a Danish indie-pop quintet from Aarhus, formed in 2014 when five students met at the city's music academy: vocalists Nanna Schannong and Soffie Viemose, synthesizer player Kasper Staub, bassist Thomas Lund, and drummer Steffen Lundtoft. Signed to the British independent label Bella Union, they have released three albums - 'Heba' (2017), 'Hifalutin' (2019) and 'Keep Up the Good Work' (2023) - building a devoted following across Europe. Their sound weaves dream-pop, electronic textures and luminous dual vocals, and a fourth album is due in autumn 2026.
Lowly is booked to play Store VEGA in Copenhagen on February 13, 2027 in connection with the release of their upcoming fourth album.
