Mads Steffensen (born 1970) is a Danish radio, TV and podcast host who spent more than two decades at DR, most notably as the face of the hugely popular Saturday radio show 'Mads & Monopolet', which at its peak drew over a million listeners. In 2021 he left public broadcasting to launch 'Mads og A-holdet' exclusively on Podimo, a weekly show in which he and a rotating celebrity panel debate everyday dilemmas sent in by listeners. He has since added the sleep podcast 'Mads og Godnat' (2025) and a companion book of bedtime stories for adults.
Mads & A-holdet are touring the country's major venues in autumn 2026, including Skråen in Aalborg (30 September) and ODEON in Odense (9 October).
In October 2025, the book 'Mads and Goodnight - Bedtime Stories for Adults' was published by Gutkind Publishing, a book edition of his sleep podcast with 12 bedtime stories.
On 19 February 2025, Mads Steffensen launched the sleep podcast 'Mads & Goodnight' on Podimo, where he reads self-written bedtime stories aloud to adult listeners.
