About

Mai Kordelin Paulsen is a literature communicator at Randers Library in Denmark, where she organises book clubs, shared reading sessions, author walks and writing communities. She led the research project 'Libraries Promote Wellbeing' (2024-2026), a collaboration between Aarhus University and three Danish public libraries funded by the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces. The project's findings - presented in Randers in January 2026 - show that public libraries act as low-pressure spaces that actively support people's wellbeing.
