About
Mamas Gun are a London-based British soul quintet formed in 2007 by singer, songwriter and producer Andy Platts. Drawing on classic 1960s and 1970s soul, funk and R&B, the band has built a loyal international following across six studio albums, with particular strength in Asia and Europe. Platts, who has collaborated with legends such as Rod Temperton and played on Corinne Bailey Rae's debut album, remains the creative engine behind the group's hook-driven sound.
