American funk and soul band Lake Street Dive performs at Musikhuset Aarhus.
Lake Street Dive is an American band formed in 2004 at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Their sound draws on soul, pop, folk and jazz, anchored by the powerful voice of lead singer Rachael Price. Eight studio albums into their career, they earned their first Grammy nomination in 2025 for Good Together (2024). The band named itself after a bar-lined street in Minneapolis, the hometown of co-founder Mike Olson.
Lake Street Dive announced a September 2025 tour with support from Lawrence, visiting New Haven, Detroit, Milwaukee, Des Moines, Omaha and Kansas City.
The band announced a spring tour in May 2025 with six shows in the Northeast USA, including two nights at Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York.
Good Together (2024) gave Lake Street Dive their first Grammy nomination ever - in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category at the 67th Grammy Awards.
The eighth studio album Good Together was released on June 21, 2024 and reached number 15 on the US Top Album Sales chart.
The band completed their largest tour to date, Good Together Tour 2024, with stops at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and Berkeley.
