Mambe, born Claudia Rodriguez, is a Colombian singer, rapper and songwriter based in Copenhagen. Together with Mexican-Danish producer Danochilango - a former Royal Danish Ballet dancer - she builds what the duo calls 'ethnic bass': cumbia, dancehall, hip-hop and Balkan brass fused into one, delivered in Spanish, English, Danish and Swedish. Her lyrics address social justice and diasporic identity, and her live shows carry that same charge.
Mambe performs at SPOT Festival 2026 in Aarhus.
The duo releases the EP SINCRETISMO in 2024.
The debut album Kosmopolítēs is released in June 2019 and receives top marks in Songlines Magazine.
Sonamos Latinoamerica celebrates its 10th anniversary with Colombian artists Montañera and Mambe, blending electronic music, folk, cumbia, and hip-hop.
Swedish producer Cumbiasound and Colombian rapper Mambe bring psychedelic cumbia, afrobeat and global grooves to Dansepavillonen. A late-summer evening of music and dance across cultures.
