Mikkel Harding Hintze is the songwriter and vocalist behind the Danish music project Dupont, which he started as a solo project in Skive during the pandemic. The project grew into a five-piece band with friends from Skive and Viborg, who coined the term "colony garden rock" for their sound - a nod to the allotment shed where much of the music was written. Dupont won DR's KarriereKanonen 2024 with the single "Night Terrors", then toured Danish boarding schools through ROSA and E-Tur. In 2025, the project has returned to its origins, with Mikkel performing solo.
