Minisjang performs at Børste og sangkassen in Tivoli Friheden, Aarhus.
Minisjang is Danish public broadcaster DR's music universe for toddlers aged roughly 1 to 3, built around recurring characters such as Børste, Fantus, Sandkassen and Lille Tut who each carry their own songs and moods. Launched in 2021 as part of DR's DRTV channel and companion play app for small children, the project quickly became one of the best-known offerings for families with young kids in Denmark, with its album going platinum in 2023. The songs, created by Danish producers including Nicolaj Rasted, Mads Storm and Stine Bramsen, are designed for routines like naptime, car rides and quiet play.
Minisjang has launched a new spin-off series, 'Rut and the Feelings', featuring Børste's best friend Rut in the lead role, who helps small children put words to their feelings.
The theme song for the new series is sung by Caroline Castell and produced by Emil Balle Petersen with an acoustic, hand-played sound universe.
The Minisjang characters, including Børste, toured with live concerts and play events throughout 2026 at, among other places, zoos and summer festivals around Denmark.
DR Records released the album 'Minisjang Musik II' in collaboration with Warner Music Denmark.
The Minisjang album achieved platinum status and was simultaneously one of the most streamed albums in Denmark that year.
