Morten Thorhauge (born 1 February 1982 in Søften, near Aarhus) is the drummer and co-founder of Danish electronic rock band Carpark North, which he helped form in 1999 alongside Lau Højen and Søren Balsner. The trio broke through with their 2003 debut, which hit number one on the Danish albums chart and went platinum, and have remained a fixture of Danish rock ever since. Their 2024-25 double album "AIR", released on Universal Music, continued that run - the single "If I Were Your King" entered the Danish airplay Top 10 on release.
Carpark North released the complete double album "AIR" (14 songs) via Universal Music on April 4, 2025.
The band celebrated 25 years with music at a large concert in K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen.
Carpark North is ready with an exclusive Denmark tour at 14 venues under the name "Energi & Nærhed - Klub Tour 2026".
"AIR - Part 1" was released on March 14, 2024 with the single "If I Were Your King", which went directly into the Top 10 on the Danish airplay chart.
