Nana Fatou is a Danish author with roots in Gambia. She made her debut with the poetry collection 'Toubab', which explores growing up between two cultures and two countries - touching on family, belonging, migration and the wordless moments between people. The book was well received and sparked a wider debate about the nature and form of poetry.
