About

Per Vers, born Per Uldal in 1976 in Gram, is one of the most prominent voices in Danish hip hop and has rapped in Danish since the early 1990s. At just 17 he won the Årets Rapper freestyle competition in 1993, and he has since released numerous solo albums and collaborative projects, including a joint record with poet Benny Andersen. His wordplay-driven lyrics have earned him honours such as the Modersmål Prize and the Dan Turèll Prize.
