Peter Plys - known in English as Winnie-the-Pooh - is the beloved bear character created by A.A. Milne, first appearing in his 1926 book of the same name. The honey-loving bear and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood have become a classic of children's literature, later popularised worldwide through Disney adaptations and children's theatre.
