Documentary screening and panel discussion on climate crisis and community resilience, featuring filmmaker Phie Ambo, researcher Nina Baron, and local climate activist Signe Schrøder.
Phie Ambo (born 1973) is a Danish documentary director who graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2003, working in a poetic and personal cinematic tradition. Her debut film Family (2001), co-directed with Sami Saif, won the Joris Ivens Award at IDFA, and she has since built a body of work spanning artificial intelligence, consciousness and - increasingly - the climate crisis. Her latest film, ILDEN, VANDET, JORDEN, LUFTEN (2026), is a Nordic co-production with directors from Sweden, Norway and the Faroe Islands. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the initiator of the Center for New Global Narratives at the National Film School of Denmark.
ILDEN, VANDET, JORDEN, LUFTEN had its Danish cinema premiere on April 23, 2026 and ran simultaneously in Sweden, Norway and the Faroe Islands.
The film ILDEN, VANDET, JORDEN, LUFTEN was selected for CPH:DOX 2026 in March.
