About

Plattenbau is a Berlin-based band formed by four international musicians, drawing on punk, noise rock, krautrock and techno. Their sound pairs jagged, melodic guitars with synth textures and driving rhythms shaped as much by club culture as by guitar music. They have released on Oliver Ackermann's label Dedstrange and played festivals including Fusion Festival and SXSW. Their latest album "Net Prophet" explores modern alienation and dark sonic landscapes.
