Roland Møller is a Danish actor born on 28 May 1972 in Odense, who grew up in the city's criminal milieu and served four and a half years in prison before leaving that life behind in 2002. He broke into acting as a consultant on the prison drama 'R' (2010), ending up with a major role in the film, and went on to win two Bodil Awards - for 'Nordvest' (2013) and for 'Land of Mine' (2015), which was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Since 2017 he has built a steady international career, with credits including 'Atomic Blonde', the Amazon series 'Citadel' and the BBC miniseries 'The North Water'.
