🎸 Sahara

About

Sahara is a British bhangra band formed in 1993 by brothers Herbie and Kully Sahara, later joined by their brother Gurps, rooted in the Punjabi music scene around Bradford and Leeds. The group broke through with the album 'Access All Areas' (2001) and its hit 'Soniye Ni Soniye', before 'Billo Ni Tera Laal Ghagra' from the 2005 album 'Undisputed' turned into a wedding-circuit staple across the world. Decades on, Sahara still tours extensively, playing weddings, festivals and cultural events from the UK and Scandinavia to Pakistan, India and the Gulf.
