Simon Lindhardt is a Danish visual artist whose minimalist paintings use simple forms and overlapping shadows to give flat surfaces the feel of three-dimensional space. He combines the stripped-back visual language of 20th-century minimalism with the classical trompe l'œil tradition, producing small, kaleidoscopic picture spaces on materials ranging from paper and canvas to bags and wall-mounted objects.
