24 Secrets

24 Secrets - children's advent calendar: 22 November – 20 December 2026, Børnekulturhus Ama´r, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 70–145 kr.

24 Secrets is an advent calendar for young children created by Børnekulturhus Ama´r and Teater ZeBU. Children explore the world of art through installations and sensory experiences designed by over 30 artists from across Denmark.

Behind the 24 calendar doors are works by visual artists, set designers, architects, play experts, and designers. Behind door 24, visual artist Maria Lau Krogh runs a creative workshop where children and adults can make their own artworks with scissors and paper.

The exhibition runs from Sunday, 22 November to Sunday, 20 December. Visits begin in Teater ZeBU's foyer, where you can buy æbleskiver (Danish pancakes) or snacks. Weekday hours (9:00-11:30) are mainly for schools and institutions; families are encouraged to visit weekends (10:00-14:30) or afternoons. Special extended hours on Wednesday 9 December and Wednesday 16 December (9:00-16:30). Closed Friday 11 December. Allow two hours for your visit after arrival at the last entry time.

Schools and institutions in Copenhagen Municipality can book free group tickets through the "En til alle" scheme by emailing billet@zebu.nu. Schools from other municipalities pay 40 kr. per person. Tickets available at teaterbilletter.dk or via billet@zebu.nu. Recommended for daycare and grades 0-5.
