Carpark North
Danish rock trio Carpark North brings their new double album 'AIR' and career highlights to 14 tour dates across Denmark in 2026, their only domestic shows of the year.
Søren Balsner is the bassist, keyboard player and co-founder of Aarhus-based electronic rock band Carpark North, which he formed with Lau Højen and Morten Thorhauge in 1999. The trio broke through with their 2003 debut and tracks like "Human" and "Shall We Be Grateful", going on to become one of Denmark's most enduring rock acts. Their 2025 double album "AIR" - written from personal experience of divorce, loss and love - is widely regarded as their most intimate work to date.
Carpark North released the double album "AIR" on April 4, 2025 via Universal Music Denmark - a collection of 14 songs divided into two parts.
The band played a major anniversary concert at K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen on May 16, 2025 to celebrate 25 years on stage.
Carpark North is heading out on an exclusive Denmark tour in 2026 with 14 venues - the band's only Danish concerts that year.
The single "If I Were Your King" from AIR - Part I went directly into the top 10 on the Danish airplay chart upon its release in 2024.
