About

Sofie Bonde (born 1972 in Aarhus) is the vocalist and guitarist of the Danish pop duo Souvenirs, which she formed with her husband Nils Torp in 1993. The duo broke through in 1994 with 'Han tog et nattog' and went on to score a string of beloved hits, including 'Jeg hader Susanne', which in 1998 became the only Danish act ever to chart simultaneously on Dansktoppen and P4's Elektriske Barometer. Across 10 albums and more than three decades of touring, Souvenirs have built a loyal following with Torp's wry, observational lyrics and Bonde's clear soprano.
