Jimmy Jørgensen (born 11 July 1964 in Copenhagen) is a Danish rock singer, songwriter and self-taught actor. He co-founded the rock band Hotel Hunger in 1985 and has fronted it ever since - the band broke through with "Sitting in a Room" (1995), which reached number ten on the Danish Tjeklisten chart. Alongside his music career he has taken on acting roles in the TV series Taxa (1997-99) and films including Pizza King (1999).
Hotel Hunger released the album No Means No on September 5, 2025 via the record label Fjellselskabet - the band's second album since the comeback.
In autumn 2025, Hotel Hunger toured around Denmark with Jimmy Jørgensen at the front with stops at, among others, Train in Aarhus, Amager Bio in Copenhagen and Godset in Kolding.
In March 2026, GAFFA described a Hotel Hunger concert at KB Hallen as a "cool and accomplished concert", where the band appeared "vital and well-played".
In November 2024, Hotel Hunger celebrated the 30-year anniversary of the album Frankie My Dear I Don't Give a Damn with two exclusive concerts at Rust in Copenhagen, where they, among other things, re-released the album on vinyl.
Hotel Hunger released the comeback album Slut on September 8, 2023 - the band's first studio album in almost two decades - and followed it up with a Denmark tour.
