About

Steen Aasbjerg (Steen Aasbjerg Nielsen) plays flute - including recorder and tin whistle - in the Danish folk group Scrumpy, which has performed traditional Irish and Scottish music since the mid-1970s. He joined the band a couple of years after its founding, around the time Scrumpy shifted from Danish folk songs toward an Irish/Scottish repertoire.
