About

Stig Markager is a professor of marine biology and environmental science at Aarhus University. His research focuses on the state of the seas, nutrient pollution and oxygen depletion in Danish waters, and he regularly appears as an expert voice in debates on water environment and climate. In lectures he translates his research for a general audience and assesses whether political initiatives can actually solve the problems.
