About

Stine Michel is a Danish singer, composer, author and storyteller, born 1973, who has spent over two decades creating music-narratives for audiences of all ages. She has released 13 albums, won a Danish Music Award for the folk album Natravn (2008) and received the Carl Prize as Composer of the Year for children's music in 2016. Her work weaves Nordic folk, singer-songwriter traditions and literary source texts into theatrical concert-narratives in which she performs as storyteller, singer and composer simultaneously.
