Biblioteket Skælskør on Vestergade is a branch of Slagelse Bibliotekerne, combining a public library with citizen services. Visitors can borrow books, audiobooks and digital materials, use study spaces and computers, and renew passports or driving licences. The library also houses the Skælskør local history archive and runs a regular programme of talks, reading clubs and children's activities. As a self-service library, it is accessible every day of the week.
