Trader + Swash
Aarhus indie rock band Trader headlines at Råhuset with support from Copenhagen's Swash. Expect noise-driven melodies and explosive slacker-rock inspired by 1990s American indie.
Swash are a Copenhagen rock band who started in 2017 in a basement as a songwriting outlet for two friends. Now a four-piece - Niels, Thomas, Eilidh and Zach - they play slacker rock rooted in 1990s American indie, with ragged melodic guitars and a firmly DIY approach. Their debut full-length album, Powers of Ten, came out in April 2026 on Hidden Bay Records.
Swash released their first full album, Powers of Ten, on April 17, 2026, via Hidden Bay Records - a nine-track album recorded live in the studio over one weekend.
The American music media Austin Town Hall mentioned the band's upcoming album in March 2026 and described their sound as a solid blend of alt-rock with powerful choruses and tight guitar riffs.
In early April 2025, Swash recorded Powers of Ten with producer Christian Ankerstjerne - for the first time all four musicians played live in the same room.
In April 2024, Swash released the EP BEES, mixed and mastered by Christian Ankerstjerne with artwork by Joakim Johnsen.
