
Tamra Rosanes - Denmark's Country Queen
Denmark's leading country artist Tamra Rosanes performs an evening of country music at Musikhus ALFA in Aars.
Tamra Rosanes was born in 1951 in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, and moved to Denmark in 1972 - initially following a romance, then building a career that would span more than five decades. The Danish-American country singer and songwriter has released over 18 albums, won a Danish Grammy for Foot Loose (1994), and was inducted into America's Old Time Traditional Country Music Hall of Fame in 2014.
Tamra Rosanes performed outdoors in Nyhavn at Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2025 on July 4.
