California Dreaming - Masterpieces

A concert celebrating the music of 1960s and 1970s California - from the Laurel Canyon artist colony where The Byrds rehearsed Mr. Tambourine Man, Frank Zappa held auditions for young musicians, and world hits emerged almost on a conveyor belt. The evening honours artists such as James Taylor, The Byrds, and The Mamas & The Papas.

On stage are Jimmy Jørgensen, Kaya Brüel, Bjørn Fjæstad, and Tamra Rosanes, who were themselves part of those decades and participated in the Woodstock Festival. They are backed by some of the country's finest musicians under the direction of conductor Kennet Lauridsen.
