About
Teitur Lassen (born 1977 in Hoyvík, Faroe Islands) is a singer-songwriter and producer who broke through internationally with his 2003 debut "Poetry & Aeroplanes" and has since released seven solo albums spanning folk-pop, chamber music and jazz. He holds multiple Danish Music Awards, was knighted by Queen Margrethe II in 2021, and received a Nordic Council Music Prize nomination in 2023.
