The Foreign Resort are a Copenhagen post-punk and darkwave trio - vocalist/guitarist Mikkel Borbjerg Jakobsen, bassist Steffan Petersen and drummer Morten Hansen - who formed in 2009 and signed to Toronto's Artoffact Records. Drawing on 1980s goth rock and new wave, they have built a reputation as a relentless live act, logging over 600 shows across Europe and North America at festivals including Wave Gotik Treffen, SXSW and Amphi Festival. Their sixth studio album, Endurance, was released in June 2026 - seven years after its predecessor Outnumbered.
