Oh Hiroshima (SE) + TÖRZS (HU)
Swedish post-rock duo Oh Hiroshima returns with their new album, supported by Hungary's leading instrumental post-rock band TÖRZS at Basement.
TÖRZS is an instrumental post-rock band from Budapest, Hungary, widely regarded as the country's leading act in the genre. They are known for atmospheric compositions and unconventional recording methods - their 2019 album Tükör was captured inside a UNESCO World Heritage cave system, 500 metres underground. Their 2025 album Menedék, released via Pelagic Records, is their first new music in six years. On stage, the band members face each other rather than the audience, turning each performance into a shared act of creation.
TÖRZS released the album Menedék via Pelagic Records on May 16, 2025 - the band's first new music in six years.
The band's founding drummer Zsombor Lehoczky left the band during the recording of Menedék.
TÖRZS returned to a traditional studio in 2023 and worked with producer György Ligeti on the upcoming album.
The band performed at Changeover Festival in Belgrade in 2024.
