Oh Hiroshima (SE) + TÖRZS (HU)

Oh Hiroshima + TÖRZS live: Saturday 13 March 2027, 19:30–23:30, Basement, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 120 kr.

Swedish post-rock duo Oh Hiroshima, in its current form featuring brothers Jakob Hemström (guitar/vocals) and Oskar Nilsson (drums), was formed over 15 years ago. Since their 2011 debut, the band has released a series of critically acclaimed albums that have gradually expanded their sound beyond post-rock's roots. In 2026, they return with the new album And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter, with renewed focus on bringing the songs to life on stage.

Support comes from Hungarian TÖRZS, considered Hungary's largest instrumental post-rock band. Their latest album Menedék is released on the German label Pelagic Records; the previous one was recorded in a UNESCO World Heritage cave 500 metres underground. Live, the band members face each other rather than the audience.
