Trisse Gejl is a Danish author who made her debut with the novel "Hvor mælkebøtter gror" in 1995. She broke through with "Patriarken" (2006), nominated for both Weekendavisens Litteraturpris and the DR novel prize. Her later works include "Skjul" (2008) and "Siden det blev for pænt" (2011), the latter also shortlisted for the DR novel prize.
