Jakob Bro joins Veslemøy Narvesen and Jesper Zeuthen in a new jazz constellation where generations meet around poet Peter Laugesen's words and voice.
Veslemøy Narvesen (b. 1997, Kristiansand) is a Norwegian jazz drummer, composer and producer who graduated from NTNU Jazzlinja in 2023. Her debut album «We Don't Imagine Anymore» (Jazzland Recordings, October 2023) was named the finest Norwegian album of that autumn by Dagens Næringsliv critic Audun Vinger, and her second album «Letting All Light Through» followed in January 2026 to strong critical reception. She is also a sought-after collaborator in groups including Mall Girl, Kongle Trio and Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, and performed her own orchestral arrangements with the Norwegian Broadcasting Orchestra (KORK) in June 2025.
The second album «Letting All Light Through» was released on January 16, 2026 on Jazzland Recordings and received broad positive critical reception in Norway and internationally.
Narvesen performed at Jazzfest in Trondheim on May 8, 2026 at Byscenen together with Orbits and Anna Ueland.
Narvesen returned to Oslo Jazzfestival with her ensemble to present «Letting All Light Through» on the National Jazz Stage.
She received the Adresseavisen music scholarship in 2025.
Narvesen performed her own material in orchestral format with the Norwegian radio orchestra (KORK) in June 2025.
