Since his 2015 ECM debut, Aarhus-born guitarist Jakob Bro has built an international career spanning more than 20 leader albums and partnerships with jazz legends including Lee Konitz, Bill Frisell and Joe Lovano. Through his own Loveland Music label he keeps pushing into new territory - most recently into Japanese ambient music and avant-garde trumpet.

Since his Blue Sun days in the late 1960s, alto saxophonist Jesper Zeuthen has kept free jazz and avant-garde music alive on the Danish scene - from his years in New Jungle Orchestra to recent work with Jakob Bro and Marilyn Mazur. His 2024 album Sound Flower earned two DMA Jazz nominations.
