Yebba, born Abigail Elizabeth Smith in 1995 in West Memphis, Arkansas, is an American soul and R&B singer who developed her voice in the church before breaking through with her debut single "Evergreen" in 2017. She won a Grammy in 2019 for her contribution to PJ Morton's "How Deep Is Your Love" and has collaborated with Ed Sheeran, Mark Ronson, A$AP Rocky and Drake. Her debut album "Dawn" (2021) established her as one of contemporary soul's most powerful voices, and in March 2026 she released her long-awaited second album, "Jean", named after her late grandmother.
Yebba released her second studio album "Jean" on March 6, 2026 via RCA Records and announced her first headliner tour.
The lead single "Yellow Eyes" from "Jean" was released on February 20, 2026.
Yebba was featured on "Die Trying" from PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake's collaborative album "Some Sexy Songs 4 U", released on April 18, 2025.
Yebba was indirectly nominated for Grammy 2026 (68th edition) via Robert Glaspar's album "Keys to the City Volume One", where she contributes vocals on the track "Reflections".
