Augustiana Kunstpark & Kunsthal occupies the historic palace buildings beside Augustenborg Castle, looking out over Augustenborg Fjord. Sønderborg Municipality took over the site in 2018 and turned it into a non-commercial institution focused on professional contemporary art. The art hall in Det Hvide Palæ hosts changing exhibitions, while the park displays artworks and projects throughout the year. Admission is free.
