About the venue

KunstVærket in Augustenborg on the island of Als is a creative community where around 43 artists share workshops under one roof. The disciplines range from painting and ceramics to photography and printmaking, and the association is run as a non-profit cultural organisation. On the last weekend of each month and at Easter, the house opens its doors so visitors can meet the artists at work. Many of the artists also exhibit at KunstPunkt, housed in the former local post office.
